Sandra Perlman

Sandra Perlman is a judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. She was elected to the position in 2010. She was re-elected to a new six-year term in 2016.[1][2][3]
Education
Perlman received her B.S. degree in Broadcasting from the University of Florida and her J.D. from the University of Florida.[4]
Career
From 1985 to 1988, Perlman served in the Broward County Public Defender's Office. After spending four years in the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, she returned to Broward County's in 1994. In 2010, she was elected to the circuit court.[4]
Elections
2016
Florida's 20 circuit courts all had seats up for election in 2016. Of the 151 seats up for election, 125 saw only one candidate file for the election. The unopposed races were canceled and the sole candidates were automatically elected. Of the 26 opposed races, only 10 saw more than two candidates file. [5]

2010
Perlman won the election in the primary, receiving 68.1% of the vote. She then ran unopposed and was re-elected in the general election on November 2nd.[2][6]
