Sandra Pomrenze
Sandra Pomrenze was a judge for Department P of the Nevada 8th Judicial District Court Family Division. She assumed office on January 3, 2005. She left office on January 3, 2021.

Pomrenze ran for re-election to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on June 10, 2014, receiving 39.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Nathan Gibbs and David R. Ford.
General: She defeated Nathan Gibbs in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 52.6 percent of the vote.

Education
Pomrenze received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1971 and her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 1977.[3]
Career
Before she became a judge, Pomrenze worked as an attorney in private practice.[4]
2013 judicial performance evaluation
In 2013, the Las Vegas Review-Journal sponsored a survey of 902 lawyers who rated Nevada Supreme Court justices and judges located in Clark County. 47 percent of respondents voted in favor of keeping Pomrenze on the bench. The average vote in favor of retention for all 88 judges evaluated was 71 percent.[5]
