Sandra Tristano
Sandra Tristano was a judge of the Cook County 12th Subcircuit in Illinois.[1] She joined the bench in 2002 and retired on June 15, 2015.[2][3]

Tristano was retained to the Cook County 12th Subcircuit with 76.6 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4]
Evaluations
The Illinois State Bar Association rated Sandra Tristano as Recommended for retention in 2014.[5]
Education
Tristano earned a B.A. in psychology from Cornell University in 1973, going on to receive her J.D. from Washington University in 1977.[6]
Career
Prior to joining the bench in 2002, Tristano held a variety of positions in the legal field:
- General counsel, Pace Suburban Bus Service
- Legislative attorney, Governor's bill review team
- Attorney, Illinois Departments of Transportation, Energy and Natural Resources, and Public Aid
- Attorney in private practice[6]
