A Sandy Creek Joint Fire District Tax question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Stark County, which is in Ohio, where the total votes were too close to call.

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

An additional tax for the benefit of the Sandy Creek Joint Fire District for the purpose of providing general operating expenses for the provision of fire, rescue, and emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding four (4) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to forty cents ($0.40) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2]
