Jones (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Mexico Public Regulation Commissioner to represent District 5. She lost in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2018.

Political career

New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (2015-2019)

Jones was elected to his old seat on the commission in 2014 and was sworn into office in January 2015. He replaced Ben L. Hall (R) as the District 5 representative. Jones lost in the primary on June 5, 2018.[1]

New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (2006-2011)

Jones was first elected to the commission in 2006 and served until losing his seat in the 2010 elections. During his five year tenure, he briefly served as chairman.[2]
