A Santa Clara County Library District parcel tax, Measure A ballot question was on the August 27, 2013 ballot for voters in Santa Clara County. It was approved.
Measure A continued, at $33.66/year, the county's existing parcel tax that was designed to support the nine libraries in the Santa Clara County Library District.[1]
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.

| "Continuing the same tax rates currently levied by Santa Clara County Library District Joint Powers Authority Communities Facilities District Number 2005-1; to provide up-to-date book collections/research materials; children’s reading programs; bookmobile services for seniors/the disabled; library hours; qualified librarians and other general library services/materials, shall Library Joint Powers Authority of Santa Clara County Community Facilities District Number 2013-1 levy a special tax, and shall an annual appropriations limit be established at $6,200,000, with all money from each community used for its local library and no money for Sacramento, all as specified in Resolution No. 13-02?"[2] |
