2016

Huddleston's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[5]

I will work to restore education as a priority social institution so children can grow up, get a good education and choose to stay in Iowa. That’s why I will will support an increase of at least 4% for the public schools.

I will work to create economic opportunities so that our kids can find jobs, and we can raise our families with the same security and values our parents raised us with.

I will support our farmers and Iowa’s role in the development and use of alternative energy sources. I will advocate strongly for economic development, support infrastructure, and have a voice in the judicial system.

I will represent all constituents, regardless of their political affiliation gender and ethnicity.

It’s time for a new perspective in the House … someone new who can bring fresh ideas and energy.

I will listen and work hard every day for you. I hope you’ll join me in this campaign. I can not do it alone. I ask you for your support and your help. Please share your contact information so we can keep you informed.

If you can volunteer any time, please contact me. If you also believe that District 11 needs fresh ideas and a tireless advocate in Des Moines, I need your help. You can contribute to my campaign online.

Working together, with all your help, I believe that we can make a positive change in House District 11 and for every Iowan![6]
