Sara Lampe (b. January 5, 1949) is a former Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 138 from 2005 to 2013. She previously served as Minority Caucus Secretary. She was also a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Missouri in 2012.

Biography

Lampe earned her MSEd and B.S. in Elementary Education from Southwest Missouri State University. She has served on the faculty of Curriculum Development for the Association of Supervision, is an Educational Consultant with Sara Lampe and Associates, and on the faculty of the College of Education at Drury University.

Lampe is a member of the American Association of University Women, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Business and Professional Women's Club, Faculty of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Gifted Association of Missouri, NAACP, National Association for Gifted Children, Parents & Advocates of Gifted Children, Senior Democrats, and South Street Christian Church.

Lampe sought the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Missouri in 2012. She lost to Susan Montee in the August 7th primary election.[1]
