Sarah Anthony (Democratic Party) is a member of the Michigan State Senate, representing District 21. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Anthony (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Michigan State Senate to represent District 21. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Sarah Anthony was born and lives in Lansing, Michigan. Anthony graduated from Everett High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and legal studies from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in public administration from Western Michigan University. Anthony's career experience includes working as the deputy director of the Michigan College Access Network and a state legislative assistant.[1]

The seat became vacant following Andy Schor's (D) resignation on January 1, 2018, in order to assume office as the mayor of Lansing, Michigan.[4]
