Governor Jared Polis (D) appointed Wallace to the court to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of judge Ross Buchanan.[1]

Anderson v. Griswold
On November 17, 2023, Wallace ruled that former President Donald Trump is eligible to remain on Colorado's 2024 presidential ballot.[2][3]
