Primary: She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 37 percent of the vote. She competed against A. Douglas Stephens. [1][2]

Glasser earned her undergraduate degree in the humanities from St. Mary’s College.[3]
