Sarah Grace was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 94 of the Ohio House of Representatives.[1]

Campaign themes

2016

Grace's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

Community: Our communities are more than just a collection of buildings. Our community is where we live, where our kids go to school, where we work and play. A healthy and vital community means a community with great schools, 21st century infrastructure, adequate police and fire protection, good paying jobs and great recreational opportunities. For too long our communities have been ignored by Columbus. I will fight for the resources needed to revitalize our communities.

Education:

  • Every Child deserves a high quality education, no matter where they live. All public schools need to be fully and fairly funded.
  • To have great education the State needs to value, respect and listen to teachers.
  • It is not fair that our education tax money can be taken out of our communities to be used by failing, for-profit charter schools.

Economy:

  • "Right to Work" is wrong. Communities prosper when Ohioans have good paying jobs. I will fight to bring good paying jobs to our region.
  • Protect safety net programs including unemployment compensation and child care programs.
  • Provide paid family leave and sick pay. No one should be waiting on tables when they are sick.
