- Our district deserves a representative that works for us, or works at all. Our current State Rep has been in office 6 years. 2 of those years he was voted out of his caucus, and for the past 2 years he hasn't served on a single committee, meaning he (and we) have zero say in the shaping of laws and allocation of funding for community projects. Meaning this person is collecting a salary and benefits, funded by our tax dollars, while OUR seat in the House sits empty for all intents and purposes. I have been working for our district, demanding our district receive it's fair share and our voices be heard in the county and state for years. I know how to ensure we are seen and heard.
- State Representatives are given a budget for Constituent Services staff and offices, those tax dollars have been wasted here for literal decades. That ends in 2024. The public may not know this, but Representatives and Senators are provided liaisons, with direct contacts for all state and often federal agencies. This is intended to help legislators connect their constituents to the services they pay for. I will provide robust constituent services along with a physical location that our community members can turn to when they need help, answers, or support.
- With our current Supreme Court of the United States showing just how corrupt and obviously compromised they are and Project 2025's full assault looming. Down ballot elections are more important than ever. When protections of personal freedom, from dangerous poisons being released into our air, water, and land, and the separation between church and state being forcibly blurred daily, it's state and local laws that will protect us. I will never stop fighting for personal freedoms and protections.
