Sarah Sharer Curley
Sarah Sharer Curley was a federal bankruptcy court judge for the United States bankruptcy court, District of Arizona. She was first appointed in 1986, and reappointed by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to a second 14-year term in 2000.[1] She was chief judge of the District of Arizona from 2001 to 2005.[2] She retired in June 2014.[3]
Education
Curley received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and a J.D. from New York Law School.[2]
Career
Judge Curley was an associate attorney with Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen in New York City, concentrating in the areas of bankruptcy and complex litigation.[2]
