Sarah Wheelock
Sarah Wheelock is a judge for District 3 of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She assumed office on December 1, 2021. Her current term ends on January 7, 2031.
Wheelock ran for re-election for the District 3 judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Gov. Tim Walz (D) appointed Wheelock to the court on November 12, 2021, to replace Carol A. Hooten.[1]
Biography
Wheelock received an undergraduate degree and a J.D. from the University of Iowa.[1] Prior to joining the court, Wheelock served as legal counsel for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community in Prior Lake. She has also worked as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline College of Law and as an appellate judge for the White Earth Band of Chippewa Court of Appeals.[1]
