Sarah Wolek (Democratic Party) is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 16. She assumed office on April 3, 2023. Her current term ends on January 13, 2027.
Gov. Wes Moore (D) appointed Wolek appointed to the Maryland House of Delegates to replace former Rep. Ariana Kelly (D).
Biography
Sarah Wolek was born in New York, New York.[1] Wolek earned bachelor's degrees in economics and decision information sciences from the University of Maryland in 2001, a master's degree in business administration from Columbia University in 2004, and a master's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago. Her career experience includes working as a senior faculty specialist with the University of Maryland, the chief of staff of fair housing and equal opportunity with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and a senior policy adviser of small business with the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Wolek has served on the board of directors of the Bethesda Urban Partnership.[1][2]
