Tim Porter is the superintendent of the Scappoose School District. Porter was appointed superintendent on April 5, 2019. Porter's previous career experience includes working as the superintendent of the South Umpqua School District, the director of technology and student achievement of the South Lane School District, and the curriculum director of the Sweet Home School District.[1]
School board
The Scappoose School District school board consists of seven members elected at-large to four-year terms. Members are elected by the entire district to seven zones.[2]
Elections
Members of the Scappoose School District school board are elected to four-year terms. Three or four seats are up for election on a staggered basis every odd-numbered year in May.
Three seats on the board were up for general election on May 20, 2025. The filing deadline was March 20, 2025.
