Scarlett Rains Farley

Scarlett Rains Farley holds the District 2 seat on the Etowah county school board in Alabama. She won re-election in the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Farley graduated from Glencoe High School. She earned a B.S. from Jacksonville State University, a master's degree from the University of Alabama and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of Alabama. Farley taught at Glencoe High School and was principal at Glencoe Middle School. She also served as the Math Coordinator for Etowah County Schools. After retiring from the Etowah County School System, Farley worked as the team leader in the Finance Department at the Alabama Department of Education. She later worked as Director of the Darden Rehabilitation Center. Farley is a member of Glencoe Baptist Church, the United Way and Kiwanis Club of Gadsden. She is married and has three daughters.[1]

Scarlett Farley was unopposed for the District 2 seat in the primary election on June 3, 2014, and therefore did not appear on the ballot. She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.
