Schaumburg Township Library Levy Increase (April 2011)
This local ballot measure article needs significant improvements to meet Ballotpedia's standards.
A Schaumburg Township Library Levy Increase measure was on the April 5, 2011 ballot in the Schaumburg Township area which is in Cook County.
This measure seeks to increase the current library tax levy in the township but overall taxes would not increase for residents since a bond repayment will be expiring the end of the year. Residents would just continue to pay the current property tax rate they do currently instead of see a decrease. The money would be used for general library needs.[1]
