This measure sought to allow a mill override at a rate of $4.8 million in order to help pay for general fund needs, funding full day kindergarten and upgrading technology in the school district. The committee, PLEDGE had been formed to help promote this measure and campaign in favor of its approval.[2]
Current Statewide
A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[3]
