This measure sought to renew the current senior services levy which is set at a rate of $.02 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for senior services in the county.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Scioto County for the purpose of maintenance and support of senior citizen services or facilities, at a rate not exceeding 0.2 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.02 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3] |
