Scot Matayoshi (Democratic Party) is a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 49. He assumed office on November 6, 2018. His current term ends on November 3, 2026.
Matayoshi (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Hawaii House of Representatives to represent District 49. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Scot Matayoshi earned a J.D. and an M.Ed. from William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a bachelor's degree in government from Claremont McKenna College in 2006. His professional experience includes serving as an associate with McCorriston Miller Mukai Mackinnon and Shlack Ito, LLC. He has also served as the Vice President of the Kaneoho Christmas Parade and a member of the Board of Directors of the Domestic Violence Action Center. He has also been the president of the Malama Honua Public Charter School Foundation. Matayoshi was elected to the Hawaii State House of Representatives in 2019. [1]
