Elections for the South Dakota House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Susan M. Randall and Ellee Spawn were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Arch Beal and Alex Jensen defeated Kevin O'Connell and Scott Bartlett in the Republican primary. Beal and Jensen defeated Randall and Spawn in the general election.[1][2][3]

Bartlett ran in the 2012 election for South Dakota State Senate District 12. He was defeated by incumbent Mark Johnston in the Republican primary on June 5. Kent Alberty ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
