Scott Briggs was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 51 of the Kansas House of Representatives in the November 6, 2012 state legislative elections.

Briggs ran for the District 51 seat in the state House in 2012. He was defeated by Richard Pikul in the August 7 Democratic primary. Ron Highland defeated Dee McKee and Keen Umbehr in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
