Expand all | Collapse all

I am completing my second term as a Cook county commissioner. Before that I was a school board member and Village trustee in glenview Illinois. I have practice law in Chicago since 1985 and raised my two children in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
  • we must continue all necessary policies to make Cook County more equitable, fair, and just for all residents.
  • we must continue to reject all hate speech and activities, which I am addressing through my initiative, Cook County United against Hate
  • we must continue to fight against overreached by the federal government, unconstitutional actions, and denial of basic services to our residence.
I continue to emphasize good and efficient government and specifically to empower as many residents as possible, even though without lobbyists.
I am endorsed by the Cook County Democratic Party, numerous labor, unions and additional democratic aligned groups, such as Mom‘s demand, action, citizen, action, and similar groups
