Scott C. Clarkson is a Federal Bankruptcy Court judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Central District of California. He was appointed on January 20, 2011, by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His current term will expire on January 19, 2039.[1]
Education
Clarkson received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1979 and his J.D. from George Mason University in 1982.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment, Clarkson was a Clerk to United States District Judge William Hungate and a Legislative Assistant to United States Representative Harold L. Volkmer, 95th Congress to 97th Congress.[2] He later practiced bankruptcy law and litigation for twenty years in Los Angeles.[3]
