Scott Dahms was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Fargo Board of Education in North Dakota. He lost election against 10 other candidates for five available seats in the general election on June 10, 2014.

Dahms earned his B.S. in environmental design and B.Arch. from North Dakota State University. He is the owner of Dahms Design in Fargo.[1][2]

Scott Dahms ran against incumbents Dinah Goldenberg and Linda Boyd as well as eight challengers in the general election on May 10, 2014. The list of challengers included Jennifer Benson, Teri-Lee C. James, David Paulson, Rebecca Knutson, Ahmed Kamel, Marty Livingood, Brian Martin and Tyler Jon Anderson. Board members Rusty Papacheck, Rick Steen and Kris Wallman did not file for re-election.[3]
