|- My vision for our transit system is to create a seamlessly connected, inclusive, and reliable network that enhances access and mobility across the entire region. A truly regional transit system requires aligning services, technology, and infrastructure with the diverse needs of our communities, making transit an attractive choice for all. My three key messages include: Equitable Access for All: Prioritizing a system that works for the entire population, especially underserved and transit-dependent areas. By reducing transit deserts, we can bring job opportunities, healthcare, and education within reach for everyone.
- Sustainable, Future-Ready Solutions: Insisting on a transit system that’s both green and resilient, reducing congestion while preparing Omaha for future growth in a way that’s both environmentally and economically sustainable.
- Community Engagement: Reflecting the community’s voice via continuous engagement with residents, businesses, and local governments to understand their priorities and improve our system based on real needs.
