Scott Gallina is a judge of the Asotin/Columbia/Garfield Superior Court, Hells Canyon Circuit in Washington. He was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee on May 9, 2014, to replace William D. Acey.[1] He was re-elected by voters in November 2014.[2] [3]

Gallina won re-election in 2016. He was unopposed in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Washington held general elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. Candidates for district and superior court seats had to file for election by May 20, 2016. Primary elections were held on August 2, 2016, for six seats where more than two candidates filed for election. Incumbent Scott Gallina ran unopposed in the Asotin/Columbia/Garfield Superior Court nonpartisan general election for Position 1.[4]

Education

Gallina received his B.A. from Washington State University in 1985 and his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1990.[5]

Career

Gallina has served as a municipal court judge in the towns of Colton and Uniontown and as a judge pro tem for the Asotin County District Court. Prior to his appointment to the superior court bench in 2014, he was a commissioner for the Asotin/Columbia/Garfield Superior Court and a partner of the Clark & Feeney law firm.[1][5]
