I recently retired from a fulfilling career as a software engineer and engineering manager. The last decade I was working from our home in Milford. That career was made possible by a public school education in Virginia and a state college degree from New York. My experience inspires my commitment to publicly supported education - an investment in all of our futures. My wife and I have two adult children, two adorable grandchildren (so far), and two dogs.
  • Abortion is a private decision for a woman, her doctor, and not the government
  • NH property taxes are too high and unfair to middle class taxpayers. Republicans have been cutting nearly all other sources of revenue, increasing property taxes
  • Cannabis should be legalized
Every Citizen should be easily able to register and vote.

Climate change is real and we all need to do our part, and the State should encourage renewable energy.
Excellent public education should be freely available to everyone.
We need better gun safety while preserving gun rights.

A commitment to objective facts, a respect for diversity of opinions, and an understanding of the difference.
Ideally, the governor is a partner in seeking fair and practical solutions.
Revising our tax structure to reduce reliance on property taxes.

Diversifying our energy sources.

Increasing educational and career opportunities for young people.
While a diversity of backgrounds and experiences is essential to the legislative process I oppose arbitrary term limits because experience with how the governing process works is also valuable. In NH the voters can fire any elected official every two years; that is protection enough.
Absolutely. If elected I will try to carpool to Concord with my fellow legislators, hopefully including ones I don’t usually agree with.
A non-partisan board guided by carefully defined mathematical rules designed to prevent partisan advantage.
Compromise is an important part of the process, but there are issues where principled positions must be defended.
