Scott M. Blough is an at-large member on the Simi Valley Unified Board of Education in California. He was first elected to the board in the general election on November 4, 2014. While the office is nonpartisan, Blough is a Republican.[1]

Blough graduated from Simi Valley High School and earned an associate degree from Moorpark College in 1998, bachelor's in history and political science from the University of Arizona in 2004 and a master's in public policy and administration from California Lutheran University in 2005. He currently works as a commercial lending officer.[2]

The election in Simi Valley Unified featured two at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.

Jeanne Davis was the only incumbent running for re-election. She faced challengers William "Bill" Daniels, Josie Hirsch, Elaine Litster and Scott M. Blough. Daniels and Blough defeated Davis, Hirsch and Litster for the two available seats.

Daniel L. Ratner was a candidate but withdrew on October 10, 2014. His name still appeared on the ballot.
