Scott MacLeod (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 10th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary on March 3, 2026.

Biography

MacLeod graduated from Sam Houston State University and the U.S. Army War College. He served in the U.S. Army for 31 years, retiring with the rank of colonel. While serving in the military, MacLeod led a deployment of Texas National Guardsmen to the border with Mexico, commanded relief efforts after Hurricane Harvey, and deployed to Iraq. After leaving the Army, MacLeod was chief executive officer of a tech company developing training programs for first responders and hospitals.[1]
