I have lived in Loma Linda for fifteen years and have built strong ties within the community. My two daughters graduated from Redlands High School and my son attends Cope Middle School. Throughout my children's academic careers, I have supported school activities, the PTA, fundraisers, sports, and booster clubs.

As a member of the Redlands School Board, I will bring 30 years of work experience including collaborating with others, solving problems, developing individuals and managing teams. My program management skills and leadership experience will enable me to guide the board in making better and more timely decisions. I have led multimillion-dollar projects and been responsible for delivering on time while managing costs and resources. My experience with building and maintaining relationships will enable me to bring new perspectives from students, parents, and the community.

I grew up in Claremont, CA, graduated from Claremont High School, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree and a minor in Computer Science from California State University at San Bernardino (CSUSB). I attended the University of Redlands where I earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and was honored with an invitation to join the Whitehead Leadership Society. My education has taught me how to focus on what is important and to find the information I need to make good decisions.
  • Through my experience running projects and leading teams, I have developed skills to provide critical insight into the development and execution of projects. I will use these skills to review the return to school plans the superintendent and his staff are proposing and provide them the input and guidance they need to be successful. The experience I bring to the school board, combined with input from parents, staff, and the community, will ensure we can bring our students back to school safely.
  • I proudly stand with the community activists calling for improvements in equality and diversity within the Redlands School District. There are gaps in the education of our kids and the training of our staff that need to be corrected. As a member of the school board I will engage with the community to understand these challenges and work with the superintendent to implement change.
  • The budgeting for our district needs decisive action to provide better funding for the much-needed improvements and maintenance of our classrooms, campuses, and buildings. The school board has several projects across that district that need action to be taken and provided funding. I bring the experience to the school board to provide guidance and direction to the superintendent and his staff to execute these multimillion-dollar projects.
