Scott Merrell
Scott Merrell was a candidate who sought the Republican nomination for governor of Connecticut in the 2018 election. He withdrew from the race prior to the state's Republican Party convention.[1]
Merrell was also a Republican candidate for governor of Connecticut in the 2014 elections.[2]

Merrell ran for election to the office of Governor of Connecticut. He had intended to seek the Republican nomination, but ultimately failed to reach the primary ballot. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
