Scott N. Freeman
Scott N. Freeman is a judge for Department 9 of the Nevada 2nd Judicial District Court. He assumed office on March 26, 2012. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Freeman ran for re-election for the Department 9 judge of the Nevada 2nd Judicial District Court. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Education
Freeman received his undergraduate degree from Ithaca College and earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School.[1]
Career
Before his appointment to the bench, Freeman was a criminal law attorney with the firm Freeman & Riggs, L.L.P. He was also an arbitrator with the State Bar Disciplinary Committee, a pro tem judge on the Reno Municipal Court and pro tem family court master for the Second Judicial District Court.[1]
