Scott Pollard is a former Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 40 from 2009 to 2011.

Biography

Pollard earned his B.A. from Roger Williams University in 1998, his M.B.A. from PACE University Lubin School of Business in 2001 and his J.D. from PACE University School of Law in 2002. His professional experience includes working as an attorney.[1]

Pollard lost re-election to the 40th District seat in 2010. He defeated Lauri Archambault in the September 14 Democratic primary election and was defeated by Republican Michael Chippendale in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2][3]

In 2008, Pollard was elected to the Rhode Island House District 40. Pollard (D) finished with 3,723 votes while his opponent Nicholas Gorham (R) finished with 3,607 votes.[4] Pollard raised $6,950 for his campaign fund.[5]
