Scott Polodna
Scott Polodna was a judge of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Jeb Bush in April of 2006, replacing former Judge James E. Henson.[1][2][3] He won re-election in 2014 to a term expiring on January 4, 2021.[4][5]
Polodna passed away on December 6, 2016, following a year-long battle with lung cancer.[6]

Polodna ran for re-election to the Ninth Circuit Court.
Primary: He was elected in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 64.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Gino Felicani.

Education
Polodna received both his B.S. degree (in psychology) and his J.D. degree from the University of Florida.[7]
Career
Polodna began his career as a lawyer in Ocala, FL. He then joined the Orange-Osceola Public Defender's Office in 1991. There he served as the felony division chief from 1995 until 2001. He then worked as an assistant Osceola County attorney until he was appointed to the circuit court in 2006.[1]
