April 5, 2024: As of March 29, 2024, 41 governors have given their State of the State addresses - 19 Democrats and 22 Republicans. The remaining nine are expected to give addresses. Ohio’s is scheduled for next week, April 10, and the others have yet to be scheduled.
All 50 state constitutions require that the governor give an annual or regular report to the legislature on the state’s condition.
