August 15, 2025: Sixty percent (60%) of voters say U.S. military operations should be solely controlled by U.S. military officials. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found that 25% say NATO should be given more responsibility and authority over operations involving U.S. troops.

The survey also found that 46% say, when it comes to public health and pandemic responses, the World Health Organization should be given more authority to set rules for the Unites States to follow. Forty-three percent (43%) say rules should be set by U.S. officials.

Methodology

The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on August 4-5, 2025. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of Registered Voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.

Scott Rasmussen is the president of RMG Research, Inc. and founder of the Napolitan Institute.
