August 25, 2025: Thirty-four percent (34%) say it is more important to help Ukraine than it is to keep the United States out of a wider war with Russia. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found 49% hold the opposing view, that it is more important to keep the United States out of a wider war with Russia.

The survey also found that 71% say it is more important to end the war than it is to defeat Russia. Fifteen percent (15%) hold the opposing view.

Methodology

The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on August 18-19, 2025. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of Registered Voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.

Scott Rasmussen is the president of RMG Research, Inc. and founder of the Napolitan Institute.
