August 28, 2018: Extreme poverty has been cut in half over the last 20 years, but not many Americans know about it. In fact, when asked if levels of global poverty have gone up, gone down, or stayed the same, 95% of Americans get it wrong.[1]
Fourteen countries were surveyed, and the least uninformed were Sweden and Norway. But even in those nations, 75% got it wrong.
