Nearly half (46%) of those who drink regularly shop while drunk—a total of 68 million people. They spend an average of $447.57 per person. Food, shoes, clothing, and gambling are the top items purchased under the influence.
Millennials make the most drunk purchases, followed by Gen Xers and baby boomers.
