December 12, 2024: 237 years ago, delegates at Independence Hall voted to ratify the Constitution in Pennsylvania. Five days earlier, Delaware had become the first state to ratify, but Pennsylvania’s ratification garnered momentum for the rest of the states to ratify.[1]
