December 15, 2021: As the Supreme Court considers a case involving Roe v. Wade, 49% of voters say that abortion is a very important issue in terms of how they will vote. Several other issues before the court were deemed even more important by voters.[1]

Sixty-eight percent (68%) say that issues of individual freedom are very important in terms of how they vote; 63% rated gun laws as very important; 58% say religious liberty is very important and 55% say the same about limiting the power of government. [1]

Lower on the priority list were the death penalty (41%) and transgender rights (31%).[1]
