December 23, 2024: Fifty-eight (58%) of voters say Christmas is one of our nation’s most important holidays. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found 7% say Christmas is one of the least important, and another 32% put it somewhere in between.
The survey also found that 91% of voters will celebrate Christmas this year. Seven percent (7%) will celebrate Hanukkah, 2% will celebrate Kwanzaa, 5% will not celebrate any of those three, and 1% are not sure.
Methodology
The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on December 11-12, 2024. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
