December 3, 2024: Trump had announced cabinet nominees 10.7 days after Election Day, the most nominees in the shortest amount of time of the last four presidents, including himself from 2016. President-elect Donald Trump has named 21 cabinet nominees so far since being elected on November 5. For President Biden to reach that number, it took 38.5 days. In Trump’s first term, he took 27.2 days, and Obama took 36.2.
