December 5, 2022: Forty-seven percent (47%) of voters think it is at least somewhat likely that Donald Trump will be elected president in 2024, including 19% who think it is very likely. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 42% think it is unlikely, including 16% who think it is not at all likely.

The survey also found that half (50%) of voters think it will be good for America if Donald Trump is elected president in 2024. Forty-two percent (42%) think it will be bad for America.

Methodology

The survey of 1,200 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on November 17-20, 2022. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population.

The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 2.8 percentage points.
