February 26, 2024: The park’s 1,217,262 acres (1,901.972 square miles) make it the 11th largest in the U.S. Grand Canyon National Park was 2022’s second most-visited U.S. national park, with 4,732,101 visitors. The Grand Canyon spans 277 miles in length and has a breadth of between four and 18 miles. At its deepest point, the canyon reaches an impressive 6,093 feet deep.[1][2]
