February 3, 2025: Forty-seven percent (47%) of voters say that the U.S. could use the $1.3 billion it currently sends to the World Health Organization (WHO) in more effective ways. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found that 36% believe funding the WHO is the best way for the U.S. to address health care issues.
The survey also found that 59% believe the U.S. should either significantly reduce its payments to the WHO (36%) or stop funding it altogether (23%). Just 27% believe the U.S. should continue funding the WHO at current levels.
Methodology
The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on January 27-28, 2025. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
Scott Rasmussen is the president of RMG Research, Inc.
