February 7, 2025: Seventy percent (70%) of voters favor President Trump’s executive order to release all remaining classified documents related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found 17% are opposed.

The survey also found 57% say it is likely the newly released files will reveal significant new information. Sixty-six percent (66%) believe it is at least somewhat likely that U.S. government agencies were involved in at least one of the assassinations. A third (33%) believe it is very likely that government agencies were involved in at least one.

Methodology

The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on January 27-28, 2025. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.

Scott Rasmussen is the president of RMG Research, Inc.
